Just one more run.
Everything you need to know about running the orb, Daily runs, Sparks, upgrades, leaderboards, challenges, rooms, purchases, recovery, and offline play. One More Run is designed to be quick to learn and pleasantly difficult to stop playing.
How to play
On your first run, doubletap the orb. After the run starts, keep tapping to keep your momentum and score moving.
Heat rises as you push your cadence. Higher pressure can be rewarding, but overheating is a real tradeoff.
Each completed run produces a Spark haul. Sparks are the currency used for permanent progression.
When the run ends, review the result, spend Sparks if you like, and share the run to give somebody else a score to beat.
Your first run
You may see hints for starting, keeping the orb moving, watching heat, banking Sparks, and finishing the run.
OMR can point you toward the Daily, Run Ledger, and More Progression so you know where to go next.
Later one-time tips can explain upgrades, Themes, Economy, sharing, challenges, and Community when you first reach those features.
Open Help → First-run hints → Reset Hints to test the new-player path again on this installation.
Daily runs
- Only one Daily completion is counted for the day on the installation.
- The Today's Modifier panel tells you what is different about the current Daily.
- Come back tomorrow for a new modifier and a new daily seed.
- Daily results have their own leaderboard views, separate from normal all-time progression.
Sparks & upgrades
More score per tap and a stronger orb impulse.
Raises your score multiplier.
Improves critical-roll chances, with diminishing returns.
Every 25 completed runs adds two more upgrade levels of headroom. The Economy view shows where your machine sits on the progression model.
Themes & cosmetics
- Neon Nights is the original starter theme.
- More themes can be unlocked with Sparks and equipped from More Progression → Themes.
- The shop also contains permanent cosmetics such as Golden Orb, Orb Polish, Trail Spark, and Orb Halo.
- Synthwave Sunset and Aurora Drift are also available as permanent shop unlocks.
Leaderboards
- Free Daily shows the free daily cohort.
- Paid Daily is the paid-eligible daily board.
- Tiered groups all-time competition by player class and tier.
- Each board can be viewed over 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days.
- The compact board highlights your row, and View full leaderboard opens the larger ranked view.
- Your display name is a runner identity, not an account login. OMR remains accountless.
Sharing & challenges
Use Share run after a completed run to make a share card containing the result and a Challenge ID/QR when the server can negotiate a public ID.
Paste a Challenge ID into the Challenge box or scan the QR from a shared card. Challenge IDs preserve lowercase characters when you type or paste them.
The Community area includes a Challenge shortcut and a copy-site link. No account is required for someone to play.
An offline run can still be kept in your Ledger. Its public Challenge ID may have to wait for synchronization before it becomes share-ready.
Community & real-time rooms
Shows a small pulse of recent public runs plus today's run and runner counts. It can include your own freshly completed run while synchronization catches up.
Real-time Rooms are synchronized private runs. Room scores stay inside the room and never enter the global leaderboards.
You can bank up to five room slots. Each slot remembers the room setup you purchased it for.
Hosts can configure a room and start immediately or use a countdown. Other runners can join using the six-character room code or join link.
Jackpots
- A jackpot can flash during a run and appear as a special result/reveal afterward.
- Jackpot value can be negotiated with the server after an offline run reconnects.
- Jackpot reveals can wait in a queue until you are ready to open them.
- A jackpot share card can be turned into a challenge, just like a normal run card.
The shop
Golden Orb, Orb Polish, Trail Spark, Orb Halo, Synthwave Sunset, and Aurora Drift are permanent unlocks.
Consumable Spark packs range from small bundles to very large packs. They add Sparks to your progression balance.
Tiny Boost affects your next run. Lucky Ticket gives one enhanced critical-roll chance.
A permanent bundle containing Golden Orb, Synthwave Sunset, Aurora Drift, 5,000 Sparks, and Supporter status.
Purchases, recovery & Identity Transfer
Open Purchases & Recovery and use a saved recovery bundle or server-issued recovery credential. Permanent purchase entitlements can be restored without creating an account.
After Stripe checkout, save the Checkout Session ID. If a purchase does not appear, use Already Paid? with that ID or provide it to support.
From the old installation, generate a transfer code in Purchases & Recovery → Identity Transfer. On the new installation, paste the code and choose Transfer to this installation.
Identity transfer codes are single-use and expire after 30 minutes. Keep them private. The transfer moves paid purchases, not your run history or leaderboard identity.
Parental guidance
The gameplay itself is designed as a simple, non-graphic reflex game. There is no required purchase to play, and the core loop is tapping the orb, chasing scores, and earning in-game Sparks.
Shop purchases are a separate consideration. Children should get a parent or guardian's permission before any purchase is made. Adults should review the purchase details and recovery information with the child.
Because OMR is accountless and local-first, a parent or guardian should supervise payment flows on shared devices and make sure the device's own purchase controls are configured appropriately.
Troubleshooting
Check the Commerce API status. Then use the Checkout Session ID in Purchase status or Already Paid?.
Use a saved recovery bundle/credential, or use Identity Transfer when you want to move paid purchases from one installation to another.
OMR can still run locally. Try again when connectivity returns. Offline runs remain in your local Ledger.
Paste the full ID from the shared card, including any lowercase characters. You can also scan the card's QR.
Check your connection, confirm the six-character code, and reopen Rooms. Room results are separate from global leaderboard scoring.
Use the Need help? support area in Settings. OMR can show you the diagnostics packet before anything is sent.
Accessibility
The game track can be focused and activated with Enter or Space. Buttons and controls use visible focus states and remain keyboard reachable.
Important game state is exposed as text instead of being trapped inside the canvas. Score, distance, speed, maximum speed, heat, combo, multiplier, Sparks, Player Class, jackpot state, and final run results have announceable labels.
System Reduce Motion preferences and the in-game option reduce animated visual effects without changing run timing or scoring.
High Contrast increases visual separation between text, controls, track elements, and important state indicators.
Larger Text increases readable UI sizing without changing game timing or scoring.
Simplified Visuals reduces decorative effects so the core game state is easier to follow.
- Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside the active task and close with Escape when appropriate.
- Important events such as run start, completion, jackpots, and other meaningful run events are announced without turning the live score into a nonstop stream of numbers.
- Existing game audio remains available for heat, starting, hoops, taps, and the final countdown.
- Player Class uses long-run average tap speed to provide a modest accessibility assist. The lowest class is Poised, a motivational play-style label rather than a performance judgment.
First-run hints & coaching
- First-run hints cover starting, keeping tapping, heat, Sparks, finishing, Daily, Ledger, and More Progression.
- One-time coach popups can explain upgrades, Themes, Economy, sharing, challenges, and Community when you first reach them.
- Reset Hints on this page clears the first-run hint state for this installation so you can test the new-player path again.
Run Ledger & offline play
- Runs can be sorted by newest, oldest, highest score, or lowest score.
- Offline runs stay local and can remain in the Ledger while they wait for synchronization.
- Tap a Ledger entry to open its full share card.
- Jackpot reveals can wait in the Ledger/reveal queue until connectivity and server negotiation are available.
Installing OMR
- On supported Android browsers, use the in-app install prompt when it appears.
- On iPhone and iPad, use Safari's Share → Add to Home Screen flow.
- After installation, OMR can keep its game shell available even when the network is unavailable.
